Christmas Markets, Glasgow 2019

Core Associates was appointed in 2019 by Market Place Europe Ltd; who have designed, installed and operated award-winning Christmas Markets, International Food Festivals, Commonwealth Games and Music festivals in several cities across the UK. The Glasgow 2019 Christmas markets had over 1.3 million visitors and in turn generated a massive economic benefit for the city.

The markets were situated on two sites in the city centre (George Square and St Enoch Square). There were several large structures within the markets which were identified by Glasgow City Council as requiring a limited life warrant. These structures were modelled in 3D using Revit which enabled us to submit 3D drawings to building control.
